    DescriptionIn the Commonwealth of Virginia, motor vehicle and driver records are considered privileged records and are not available to the general public. The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is custodian of driver and vehicle records for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Pursuant to an agreement between DMV and the Virginia.gov, DMV has authorized Virginia.gov to provide authorized users electronic access to DMV records.
